first cuttng off with the ZAG ZAG,
 
 

grozzling the inner curve very carefully, while there is enough glass left on the other side for stability .
 
 

By reducing the waste glass as much as possible from the other side with the ZAG ZAG

I get the best chance to keep the piece unbroken.
 
 


 

This method works in 98% of all cases.

I think there is no grinding necessary, because the shape of the upside fits sufficient.
