After the shade was cleaned up, there could be done the final check of the soldering.
One single piece
of glass, which hurts the eyes in the "Red Area" of the shade has
to be changed. As
the shade is more than 20", I had to add three reinforcements.
After final soldering
the lower border area the shade was copperplated,
patinated and waxed.
